The SP1000 AMP module is the perfect accessory for any original Astell & Kern SP1000 owner. The power output from the SP1000 was always good, however many owners were left wanting when it came to harder to drive earphones or headphones.
Now the SP1000 AMP can be snuggly connected to the SP1000 and offer an amazing power increase across both unbalanced and balanced output.
The SP1000 AMP offers High Gain output of 10Vrms for Balanced output and 6.2Vrms for Unbalanced output. This is more power than is provided by the SP2000 portable music player.
The AMP module is securely fastened to the SP1000 using a locking mechanism and comes with a specially designed case that can house both the SP1000 and the AMP module together so that is is more portable.
