Since the very beginning of Audio Concierge in 2018, Vision Ears were one of the very first brands that we endorsed with their exquisite silver ERLKONiG earphone. We were in admiration of this earphone as it was only ever available as a universal option and sounded absolutely incredible. For many years there was nothing that Vision Ears could add in their lineup that sat between their custom only VE8 and the ERLKONiG up until the stunning Elysium was announced. The Elysium offers a range of new technologies for Vision Ears earphones and utilises them to give one of the most involving and dynamic presentations of any earphone currently available.
Sadly after ERLKONiG was discontinued with their limited Black Edition run, Vision Ears had nothing to replace their incredible flagship for quite some time. Midway through 2021, Vision Ears announced their brand new flagship for the brand with the launch of Phonix, a stunning piece of engineering with it’s luxurious carbon fibre shell and black or gold faceplates.
Leading on from technological advancements first integrated into the ERLKONiG, Phonix further improves on it’s performance by improving the sonic capabilities with an all new super tweeter and improved sound engine. Much like it’s older brother, Phonix still arrives with a massive 13 drivers in each ear, attached to your favourite portable player using a custom developed cable terminated to 2.5mm balanced. When purchasing your Phonix, it will come with a high quality 2.5mm to 4.4mm adapter, perfect for changing to a different output.
Unlike ERLKONiG with it’s removable faceplates, Phonix offers a choice of 2 finishes for the faceplate, each made of aluminium with a gorgeous sapphire glass domed cover encasing the Phonix logo.
The PHöNIX has been developed so that you can experience music like never before. It is equipped with 13 balanced armature Drivers. This powerful engine is controlled by a passive 5-way crossover to produce an outstanding sound with staggering precision and clarity. Vision Ears are very proud of their unique sound composition, which has been created with great attention to detail and fine-tuned to enable you to hear beyond the obvious.
Down to the smallest detail, you find excellence in this product. The gem-like appearance complements the illustrious sound composition.
