Perseus Satin Audio Cables

Perseus is our latest product, which has been under a lot of our research and development. We have always been cherishing a plan to “REINVENT” a premium pure SP-OCC cable from the very first days of our establishment. Perseus is named after a warrior- a hero- well known demigods in Greek Mythology. As the first product of the new Warrior Series, the Perseus represents a new direction, delivering the best transmission quality with exceptional wire constructions and a selection of materials from Satin Audio.

Limited wooden packaging: The Perseus will be shipped in a premium wooden packaging during the 5 Year Anniversary event of Satin Audio.

The Perseus will be delicately made with an exclusive set of plugs/splitters only for Warrior Series. Here at Satin, we come up with this set using a combination of isosceles triangle bevels, stylized from the tips of spears and swords of mighty warriors in Greek mythology. Made from brass with CNC milling technology combined with color plating, SA Warrior Parts 2021 promisingly brings out an impressive, unique and high-class appearance for Perseus.

Geōmetria Dual Layer Structures: This structure is made up of 2 core layers of dual signal transmission. The Center Layer Conductor, which is wrapped outside with braided structure, has stranded construction with Kevlar Damping Core in the center. This special structure helps to optimize the sizes, to suppress the noise, to anti- vibrate and to enhance the signal transmission quality.

Applying the technology of Litz construction, all strands are covered with an insulating layer, which both minimizes the impact of Surface Effects, increases transmission quality, and protects the wire from oxidation. Satin Audio proudly confirms that none of our cables turns green after a period of use.

Double Insulation:

We decide to use 2 different insulations on Perseus. The first layer separating the two transmission core layers is the same old SA UltraSoft Insulation layer. And the second outermost layer covering the entire wire is the latest SA Insulation II. Using up to 2 different materials not only helps to provide the better vibration resistance, and to ensure the signal transmission performance, but also to enhance the flexibility of the wires for more user-friendly experiences.

With the outermost SA Insulation II layer, Perseus will always ensure the lasting softness without getting stiff like other cables in the market.

The best conductive connectors:

As a high-end product line focusing on optimizing the signal transmission, each Perseus is well-made with the best quality plugs and connectors. For connectors, we use our own developed  Satin 2-Pin TeCu/PEEK and MMCX TeCu/Teflon ones with very high transmission index, with IACS up to 93% compared to normal 27% Brass IACS connectors from other brands.

As for plugs, Satin also carefully pick the best plugs on the market, including 2.5mm/3.5mm Satin jack made of Palladium plated ULTIMATE Copper (99.9% pure copper) for excellent transmission efficiency. Normally, Copper will be softer than Brass, but with ULTIMATE COPPER, despite its very high purity, it still provides the same durability as Brass. We also use the 4.4mm plug from the famous Pentaconn brand, which is made from OFC copper. All 3 types of these 2.5mm/3.5mm/4.4mm jacks are made in Japan and achieve excellent transmission index, up to 100%-101% IACS compared to normal 27% Brass IACS plugs from other brands.
