By far one of the greatest headphones of all time, the LCD4 produces an incredibly competent sound that’s like no other. With it’s immense musicality and immersive soundstage it takes on music with prowess and yet somehow still manages to be elegant and beautifully articulate in its representation. The LCD4 however does have somewhat of a caveat and that is it’s ability to pair with other equipment to get the best out of it. With it being a whopping 200 ohm load, this behemoth can be some what of a difficult headphone to control and choosing a matching headphone amplifier can be tricky.
