The iFi GO blu is one of the most exciting products to arrive from the house of iFi in quite some time. Providing many the ability to turn their earphones or headphones into bluetooth capable items with a dinky little dongle is not something iFi have done before. The GO blu provides amazing quality using all of the latest bluetooth codecs including the expensive to integrate LDAC technology. For me LDAC currently provides the pinnacle of bluetooth transmission and it’s a hoot having it available on the GO blu.
Alongside all of the latest codecs, the GO blu also offers multiple outputs for use on a variety of different headphones. Not only does the GO blu provide an unbalanced 3.5mm output but it also includes a balanced 4.4mm output for those harder to drive headphones. With an amazing 245mW on the balanced output with a massive 5.6 volts means it packs a punch that’s much bigger than many of it’s competitors.
The GO blu is only 26g and offers all the usual features you would come to expect from iFi such as their DirectDrive, XBass and XSpace technology all adds to the immersive audio experience.
If you are looking for a convenient way to experience wireless HD music, using your existing earphones or headphones for utmost convenience, then the GO blu is an exceptionally versatile and fantastic sounding option.
