The Empyrean headphone quickly became one of my all time favourite headphones. The stunning build quality and attention to detail is truly astounding and quickly puts it in the field of the flagship product from Meze Audio. With a collaboration with Rinaro, Meze have managed to design one of the most amazing headphones in terms of sound quality that presents itself as a beautifully musical masterpiece, Detail from your music simply emerges effortlessly from the soundscape and immerses you in a world unlike anything currently on the market. It is so easy to pair up with accompanying headphone amplifiers that it makes it an easy choice to make. Many of the other headphones sound amazing, however they require careful pairing with hardware to power them. Not with the incredible Empyrean.
Using a unique Isodynamic Hybrid system ensures that the representation of the music is ultimately engaging and masterful from the outset. The incredible comfort offered from the ergonomically made ovoid shaped earpads and ultra light carbon fibre headband, means that the Empyrean can be listened to for a prolonged period of time with very little fatigue.
