Audeze launched their very successful closed back designed LCD-XC a number of years ago now and it has become a staple product in the brands portfolio. Using all the best technology Audeze has to offer, including their Fazor technology alongside their planar magnetic driver makes the LCD-XC a best in class closed back headphone. The LCD-XC is not the easiest headphone to drive and does require power from a headphone amplifier such as that from a Chord Hugo2 or HugoTT2. As the power increases the LCD-XC excels further, engulfing you in an intensely immersive experience. The bass is really low from the LCD-XC yet the vocals still retain a great degree of precision and it never gets lost in the mix.
The LCD-XC Limited Edition comes with the upgraded steel and leather headband found on later models of the LCD range of headphones. This offers far greater comfort for prolonged listening enjoyment.
