Since seeing and hearing the Rai Penta pre production sample mid way through 2018 I was immediately smitten. The gorgeous build quality and design is simply exquisite and the sound is immensely involving and musical.
After releasing their incredible Empyrean flagship headphone, Meze are now releasing their flagship in ear, consisting 4 balanced armature drivers and 1 dynamic driver. The Rai Penta offers a similar signature to the Empyrean with its ease of listening and comfort. The Penta just sounds “right” when you are listening to it and you soon get taken away with the music, rather than trying to decipher what the earphone is and isn’t doing.
The gorgeous ergonomic design of the Rai Penta offer itself to long listening sessions and lets you immerse yourself in your favourite music without feeling the earphone in your ear as much as some other earphones currently available.
Provided is a high quality silver plated copper cable, finished with a rhodium plated 3.5mm jack connector perfect for most portable players and some smartphones directly. If you wish to enhance the listening further then upgrade cables are available in 2.5mm and also 4.4mm.
