V6 adopts Direct Transport Audio architecture which bypasses Sample Rate Conversion(SRC) layer of the original Android system in the kernel audio driver. Given the advantages of DTA, all music apps installed in V6 can pass the audio stream directly to the hardware without re-sampling and data loss. In short, it is bit perfect output which reduces latency in data transfer and passes every bit of data down without loss.

Full balanced DSD5I2 decoding circuit

Two AKM4493SEQ chips newly designed by AKM are used, which are respectively responsible for the left and right channel of TempoTec V6. Thanks to AKM and a fully balanced design, it makes the signal-to-noise ratio of TempoTec V6 reach 124dB, and the THD+N reach -111dB. It natively supports up to 32Bit/768kHz, DSD512 ultra-high decoding standard. Moreover, AKM4493SEQ and Snapdragon processor at the same time Provides V6 with the ability to achieve MQA 16X full decoding.

The open android system makes V6 support third party app installation, allowing you to download your favorite music streaming apps including TIDAL, Spotify and Apple Music etc..

The analogue circuit of the V6 has been elaborately designed, through careful adjustment of the four analogue circuits, TempoTec have managed to retain AKM DAC’s stunningly original transparency and spirituality in the mid-frequency and high-frequency. AKM’s chip lacks some low-frequency punch as standard, however TempoTec have managed to achieve incredible low frequency response using amplifier design and circuit integration.

The headphone amplifier circuit adopts 2*OP1612 and 4*OPA1688. After the digital signal is converted into an analogue signal by the AKM4493SEQ, the 2*OPA1612 does the first-stage amplification processing, then passes the analogue signal to 4*OPA1688 to do the second-stage amplification. After this two-stage amplified circuit, the headphone amplifier system obtains a powerful output up to 610MW@32Ω(4.4 BAL PO). Easily capable of driving all kinds of headphones and earphones.

Two-way Bluetooth allows V6 to connect to a variety of Bluetooth audio devices. V6 supports a variety of Bluetooth HD transmission protocols including LDAC, UAT,  AAC, APTXHD, APTX, providing high-quality and lossless music enjoyment experience.

V6 supports WIFI 5GHz&2.4GHz, whether importing music via WIFI or enjoying music by stream media apps such as TIDAL, Spotify, Qobuz and Deezer. It can meet your wireless needs.

• USB DAC

V6 provides a variety of ways to use, one of which is USB DAC. By connecting to other audio source devices like PC through a USB cable, it will work in the role of a USB decoder.

• USB output

V6 acts as an audio source while connected to other USB DAC or USB dongle. For example, by plugging TempoTec Sonata E44 which has 2*CS43131 into V6, you can get quite a different sound style from V6 itself.

• Coaxial output

The USB port of V6 is also a Coaxial output port. By connecting V6 to different external DAC which has Coaxial input port, you may be able to get different sound. In this case, the V6 acts as a pure digital audio source.

Screencasting is a new function of V6. Just need to install the same APP on the phone and V6 under the same WIFI.  Scanning the QR code on V6 which represents the ID by your phone, now you get full control of V6 easily at a long distance like you are holding and controlling V6 in hand. Great when just wanting to access your V6 using your mobile phone.
