QX11

The FiiO QX11 is a pocket-sized DAC and headphone amplifier with a split personality. In HiFi Mode it’s a serious music device. Switch to Game Mode and it becomes a gaming sound card with a built-in microphone. If your headphones do double duty between albums and online games, it’s a neat way to cover both with one device.

Two modes, one dongle

HiFi Mode supports PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit and native DSD512. Game Mode switches to a streamlined interface with sound profiles for FPS, action, MOBA and rhythm games, designed to make footsteps and positional cues easier to place.

Built-in mic for chat and calls

The QX11 has its own microphone with AI noise reduction, and it also supports 3.5mm headsets with in-line mics. That’s genuinely useful if you want clearer voice chat without adding a separate microphone to your setup.

Dual ES9069Q and plenty of drive

Two ESS ES9069Q DACs feed an all-TI amplifier stage. On its own it delivers up to 360mW per channel balanced. Plug a power source into its second USB-C port and Desktop Mode lifts that to 800mW per channel into 32Ω, enough for most full-size headphones.

That second port also handles up to 45W USB PD pass-through charging, so it can top up your phone or tablet while you listen.

Easy to live with

A 1.14-inch colour screen shows sample rate, gain and filter in HiFi Mode, or game profiles and mic settings in Game Mode. There’s a satisfying multifunction knob, a customisable shortcut button and a choice of 60 or 120 volume steps. Auto EQ and a 10-band custom EQ are available through FiiO’s app and web tools, and the 3.5mm output doubles as a digital S/PDIF output.
