Nothing has ever been too much trouble
I have been a client of Phil’s now for around 10 years.
He has afforded me plenty of time and guidance in that time, helping me choose personal audio products, including DAC’s and headphones.
Nothing has ever been too much trouble and despite his dodgy musical tastes, he is able to accurately convey what each piece of the ‘chain’ is doing.
Phil has huge insight into these products and is able to advise beyond a short demo, which helps, as it’s not easy dealing with people and a wide array of different products.

Happy to recommend less expensive equipment
To say Phil is a good chap is an understatement, I’ve had various dealings with him in the past few years, and as brief example of what makes him so great, he is the only person who when ready to make a sale will put the buyers interests at heart moreso than the profit line, happy to recommend less expensive equipment if he feels it will suit the buyer better, and will explain that reasoning too. You don’t get either service or honesty from just any person, but you do from Phil
